Rules
We try to keep the clan rules as fair as possible. All members are expected to follow these rules, and they apply to all members equally, regardless of rank.
Rule 1 Follow the Leaders
All members must respect and obey the authority of high-command (Web Master, Commanders, and Co-Commanders). If we say not to do something, do not do it.
We try to be as fair as possible to all members, both in the rules we apply and how and when we apply them. If you think we are doing something wrong, let us know with a PM. (no need for negativity on the chat boards).
Rule 2 Chain of Command
Highest authority always falls to the highest ranked members present at the time, traveling down the chain of command. However, in no case does any member, of any rank, have the right to disobey rules or act contrary to high-command.
Rule 3 No Impersonation
Simply do not impersonate other members or higher ranks.
Rule 4 Respect Others
Members must show due respect and politeness to other members and to those outside the clan. We realize not everyone is going to come together harmoniously, just do not be outright rude or disrespectful. If you have a problem with someone, either talk it out or tell someone in high-command. This positively applies to interactions with members of other clans, as well. Do not start shit with them, especially during friendly tournaments. This is very important, and your first offense in this respect could be your last.
Rule 5 All Skill-levels Allowed
No member is to be kicked out of the clan based on skill. This clan welcomes all players, even though there is a tryout. The tryout is used to give us a clue as to where your skill level is at and what kind of a person you are.
Rule 6 Do not Hack
No hacking is allowed in this clan. If you hack wearing our clan tag, and someone can prove it, , you will be removed from clan, no exceptions. If you see anyone in the clan hacking, please tell someone in high-command!
Rule 7 Clan Names
Clan names must be appropriate. Nothing disrespectful. Names must follow the format: -=ClAn=-NAME - no other tags or symbols.
Examples: -=ClAn=-slayerlord If you change your name in any way, you MUST pm the clan leaders about the change right away.
Rule 8 Uniforms
All members must be in uniform, meaning all members must be wearing the tag -=ClAn=- in our channel and have the correct profile. Profiles should be as follows:
Rank: Your given rank
Recruited By: The person who recruited you
Date Recruited: The date on which you were recruited
Map Pref(s): Low Money, Fastest, and or UMS - One, all, or any combination
Rule 9 Do not Double-clan
No double clanning. You cannot be in our clan and in another at the same time. If we find out you are doing this, you will get one warning, and possibly banned out-right.
Rule 10 Earn Your Rank
No complaining about your rank. Having said that, you may request to be promoted, but nobody wants to hear you say (can i get promoted) every ten seconds.
Continuously asking for a promotion can quickly lead to a demotion. Be patient.
Promotions are based on several criteria: Days in clan, skill with recruiting, maintaining low DSL, demonstration of loyalty & dedication to the clan, and performing or willingness to perform duties beyond your current rank, among others.
Rule 11 DSL
If your DSL (Days Since Login) is not green on Saturday (promotions day), you will be overlooked for promotion. Good DSL is extremely important! It shows clan activeness, and keeps new members interested.
Rule 12 Meetings
When there is a meeting, you must attend unless otherwise notified. If you can not attend, pm (private message) a Leader and let them know. We take meetings seriously, as they are a way for members to express their ideas and give suggestions, as well as ask questions. Most of high command meets Saturday nights, catching us after that meeting is the best time to catch us online.
Rule 13 Disciplinary Actions
Breaking any rule will likely result in a `Rule 13` being applied:
- First Offense: Warning.
- Second Offense: Demoted and temporarily banned from the channel.
- Third Offense: Good-bye.
- Except for Hacking this results in automatic removal from clan.
Rule 14 Second Chances
Any member who is banned from the clan may be given a second chance, an opportunity to return to the clan, should high-command decide to offer it. In some cases, Commanders may require a hearing with the person before their return can be voted on.
Rule 16 No Spamming
There is absolutely no spamming allowed in the server. Doing so is just as bad as flooding it.
Rule 17 Cautious Recruiting
When our security level is Elevated (yellow) or higher, please bring new recruits, with proper tag and profile, to someone in high-command before adding them to the site.
This rule is very important to high-command. Know the security level before recruiting by logging into the site daily.
Rule 18 Clan Merging
All new members start as recruits, regardless of their previous clan experience. Being a former leader, for example, does not entitle one to a higher starting rank. Anyone worthy of a higher rank will be able to quickly attain it on their own.
Rule 19 Ventrilo Names
Your user name on Ventrilo must at least resemble your user name on the site and server so we know who you are.
